Travel Information

Getting Here. There are three airport options (Monterey is the most convenient but you may find one of the others more appropriate, depending on the circumstances):

  1. Monterey Airport (MRY).
Distance: About 2 miles (~ 3 km) from the meeting facility.

This is a small airport and will require an extra connection (probably in LAX or SFO).

  2. San Jose International (SJC).
Distance: About 70 miles (~ 120 km) from Monterey; driving time about 1.5 hours.

There is an airport shuttle ( Monterey Airbus ) that runs between the airport and Monterey ($30 each way).

  3. San Fransisco International (SFO).
Distance: About 100 miles (~ 165 km) from Monterey; driving time about 2 hours.

The airport shuttle mentioned above ( Monterey Airbus ) also runs between SFO and Monterey (also $30 each way).

NOTE: Traffic congestion can be a problem when driving from SJC or SFO to Monterey; doubling travel times. Try to schedule your travel to avoid the traffic rush hours (0700 to 0900 and 1500 to 1800).
