1st meeting

The first meeting of sea surface salinity and other variables collected underway pilot project was held:

Objective:

The objective of the meeting is to review the TRACKOB document from R. Keeley, to take adequate consideration of data integration concerns expressed by JCOMM, and to prepare a plan for the project. A formal presentation of this plan will be made to IOC and JCOMM for their approval. However, since we have approval in principle to proceed, we could consider implementing elements of the plan before formal approval is given.

Preparation and Deadlines

Each task area has a list of people who have been asked to contribute to a document. Each group should organize themselves as to who will be the lead author / presenter and to let the organizers know as soon as possible. Each group can accomplish writing the document as they see fit, either a single author, or joint authorship. Please try to send the documents to IFREMER a.s.a.p., so that they can be read by others prior to the meeting.
